Entry-Level Project Surveyor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Entry-Level Project Surveyor, you will work in a team environment as a member of a professional surveying staff assisting in the performance of boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, platting, right-of-way acquisition, transportation, and construction surveys utilizing the latest equipment and surveying technology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist the project surveyor and other senior management.

  • Assist in the completion of boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, topographic and location surveys, and as-built surveys, as well as, construction stakeouts, global positioning systems surveys, deed research, photogrammetric control, and hydraulic surveys.

  • Communicate with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.

  • Develop a basic understanding of survey equipment, geometry, and apparatuses.

  • Develop survey base information in Carlson, Civil 3D, or other relevant software.

  • Accurately execute markups provided by senior staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s, Associate’s, Technical, or High School degree (or equivalent).

  • Ability to work both independently and in group environments.

  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Carlson, and Civil 3D.

  • Ability to work outside in all seasons.
