Project Surveyor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Project Surveyor, you will work in a team environment assisting in the performance of boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, platting, right-of way acquisition, transportation, and construction surveys utilizing the latest equipment and surveying technology.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participate in all phases of survey projects and document progress.

  • Perform survey computations and drafting for boundary and topographic surveys, plats, and construction stakeout.

  • Analyze construction plans, drawings, and field data to ensure accuracy.

  • Research legal documents, deeds, and plats for project precision.

  • Compile field data and develop survey bases in Carlson, Civil 3D, or similar software.

  • Ensure high-quality standards and implement safety protocols.

  • Mentor junior staff and support professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s, Associate’s, Technical, or High School degree (or equivalent).

  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in land surveying projects.

  • Professional licensure is a plus but not required.

  • Strong client interaction skills.

  • Proficient with computing, drafting, and CAD standards.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
