After more than 40 years in the engineering industry and nearly two decades helping shape J2, co-founder Jim Bishoff retired from full-time employment on April 30, 2026. He will transition to a part-time role as Senior Advisor and subject-matter expert, continuing to support the firm’s technical and executive teams.

Construction is underway on the Atlantic Boulevard Apartments – Loudoun County’s newest attainable residential community. This project addresses the critical need for affordable housing while creating a walkable, connected neighborhood near major employment centers, retail, and recreational amenities.

J2 has been selected by Loudoun County for a new public-sector contract to provide On-Call Land Surveying Services on an as-needed basis. This selection also marks a continuation of J2’s role on this contract, building on our successful delivery of surveying services to the County during the previous contract term.

J2 has been selected by Loudoun Water for a Civil Engineering, Surveying, and Related Services Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to provide professional services on an as-needed basis. This award continues J2’s role in supporting Loudoun Water under this contract, building on our experience delivering services across previous contract cycles since 2015.
