Strengthening Infrastructure from the Ground Up: J2 Ranked #1 for Loudoun County On-Call Surveying Contract

J2 has been selected by Loudoun County for a new public-sector contract to provide On-Call Land Surveying Services on an as-needed basis. This selection also marks a continuation of J2’s role on this contract, building on our successful delivery of surveying services to the County during the previous contract term.

Through this contract, J2 will continue supporting the County’s ongoing efforts to plan, design, and deliver infrastructure projects as part of its Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Accurate and reliable surveying remains a critical foundation for these projects, supporting everything from initial planning and design through construction and long-term asset management.

The scope of services includes a full range of land surveying and utility designation services, such as boundary and topographic surveys, aerial photogrammetry, horizontal and vertical control, ALTA/NSPS surveys, construction stakeout, and subsurface utility designation. Additional services may include bathymetric surveys, plats and mapping, deed research, and advanced technologies such as 3D laser scanning to document existing conditions.

The contract allows the County to issue individual task orders for projects across a variety of departments and infrastructure needs, providing flexibility and timely response to evolving priorities. J2’s multidisciplinary team will support each task with experienced personnel, advanced technology, and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality data that informs sound decision-making.
